Flexible funding options to access support at home
With the changes to Home Care in Australia, and the long wait time for an assigned support classification, we understand that getting assistance when yourself or a loved one need it can be stressful.
At Heather Senior Care & NDIS, we offer two ways to access our in-home care packages.
We’re here to support you in choosing the most suitable option and can guide you through the government application process if you require.
Government funding via Support at Home
Access government funding to subsidise your in-home care through Support at Home. Participant contributions are an essential part of the Support at Home program, to ensure a fairer system that can provide access to better and more tailored services in an affordable way. The Government will continue to fund the majority of aged care and will fund all clinical costs for all participants receiving Support at Home. Where contributions are required for services, they will be based on your income and assets. To find out more:

We believe in straightforward and transparent pricing, so you can focus on the things that matter.
Care Fees
Care management activities are delivered by your designated Clinical Care Partner.
The members of the Heather Senior Care Clinical Care team are all Registered Nurses.
- You will have 10% deducted from your quarterly budget for care management
- Your Clinical Care Partner will visit you regularly to discuss your health and service requirements and ensure you are happy with your services. Care management will be different for each participant based on individualised needs, goals, support network, communication preferences, level of involvement and cultural background.

Support At Home Approved Care and Services

If you are a participant who was previously receiving a Home Care Package, you will have access to all services on the Support at Home service list and will not need a Support Plan Review or reassessment to access different services.
If you were approved for Support at Home on or after 1 November 2025, you will be provided with a copy of your support plan. This will note the approved services you can access from the Support at Home service list.

How to change Support At Home Package Provider
If you or a family member on care support is no longer satisfied with your current Support At Home Package provider, you are not locked in and can choose to change.
