Heather's Story
As a young child, Heather had rheumatic fever and spent almost a year in a hospital. This started her passion for quality care, she wanted to be the nurse who really cared. Heather found inspiration in her mother, Joyce, who was a registered nurse. Together they established and grew a company that would deliver quality care to both the client and the nurses.
Now 20 years later, Heather is working with her daughter Hayley, ensuring the clear goal of providing quality care and support to our workforce and our clients. They also understand that people don’t just require care or give care—they want to feel valued, respected and have joy in their lives.
Joyce benefited from Home Care until the end of her life, and this brought great joy to both her and her family! Her individuality and her work, family, skills and achievements were always celebrated.
A Community Focus
Heather’s founding vision ‘Nurses caring for nurses’ captured the agency’s ongoing dedication to providing nurses with a caring, supportive and understanding environment.
Today, this vision is still integrated into every aspect of our business and has resulted in our reputation as a leading provider of experienced and compassionate senior care professionals.
As a family-owned and run business, we focus on supporting seniors to live vibrant and independent lives at home or through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
"Working here feels like being part of a hidden gem. Most days I’m out supporting clients in their daily lives, and knowing the hub is just a call away makes all the difference. They’re always ready with backup, answers, or even just a friendly check-in when you need it. Great support, great people, great vibes!"

My wife was on level 2 HCP—she then had numerous falls and Heather Senior Care helped us through the journey to get an upgrade to a level 4 HCP.
My wife has advanced dementia and with the help and support of Heather Senior Care and our coordinator I have kept Anna at home. Our home care coordinator has always advocated for Anna and it has never been a problem to get equipment, modifications or consumables or allied. We get 7 days a week care and if a carer is sick or away the rostering team always do their best to replace the staff. It has been wonderful and the support staff have been a wonderful help and support—it allows me to get out into the community and do what I need to do, like appointments. Our coordinator is always available on the phone. I feel they actually care and we are not just a number. I feel that our Heather Senior Care has always advocated for myself and my wife and keep us updated and informed. I feel like everyone cares about us.

I worked for Heather as a Personal Care Worker until I was 72.

I loved working for Heather and Joyce who treated me like I belonged to their family. I am now 85 and have a Home Care Package with Heather Senior Care. The wonderful care continues from office staff, home care coordinator and Britney, my long term carer, is like having a daughter visit. They all make getting older a lot easier. A wonderful, supportive and loving team.
